Ladies Shoe shank is a curved metal piece inserted on the insole of the shoe or boot. All footwears made will have either metal, plastic or wooden shanks. Used for providing arch support and give footwear a sturdy structure. Inserted between the heel and the ball of the foot just below the arch. Extremely sturdy, light, strong and flexible.
