Do you require a deposit for custom orders?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to begin work on bespoke commissions. The balance is due before dispatch.
Product Care & Leather Maintenance
How do I care for my leather product?
Vegetable-tanned leather develops a rich patina over time with proper care. We recommend:
- Clean with a slightly damp cloth — avoid soaking
- Condition every 3–6 months with a quality leather conditioner or beeswax balm
- Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight and heat sources
- Allow wet leather to dry naturally — never use a hairdryer or radiator
What if my leather product gets wet?
Allow it to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat. Once dry, apply a leather conditioner to restore suppleness. Vegetable-tanned leather is naturally water-resistant but not waterproof.
How do I store leather products?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid plastic bags — use a breathable cloth bag or wrap in tissue paper to allow the leather to breathe.
Will the leather change colour over time?
Yes — this is one of the most beautiful qualities of natural leather. Vegetable-tanned leather develops a unique patina with use, darkening and deepening in colour. This is a sign of quality, not a defect.
Returns & Repairs
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns on unused, unmodified items within 14 days of receipt. Custom and bespoke items are non-returnable unless faulty. Please email us before returning any item.
