Save money and repair your own shoe heels by replacing worn heels and worn heels blocks. Leather quarter steel heel top piece mounted on a PVC heel block used by shoemakers and cobblers to make and repair shoes.
- Made in England. Vintage stock from 1970s.
- Men heel blocks with 1/4 steel leather heels.
- Heel block size 3 1/4" and 3/4 inches high.
- 1/4 steel leather top piece mounted on a black plastic block.

Instructions for fitting new block heels to existing shoes or new shoes being made
- Ensure shoes are clean. Remove any dirt
- Rough bottom of the heel and the shoe part where heel fits with course sandpaper
- Clean both parts with a damp cloth
- Place the heel on the shoe and draw around it
- Using a sharp tool trim to size around the line drawn
- Apply adhesive to the bottom part of heel and on the sole part of the heel
- Let the glue dry till it becomes tacky
- Now carefully place the glued heel on to the line drawn
- Press with your fingers and hand
- Remove the insole inside the shoe
- Drive 5 buttress nails inside the shoe where the heel is attached - 2 cm away from the shoe upper
- Repeat the process for other shoe
- Begin to finish the shoe
