Leather Waterproofing Guide

1. Test first — apply a small amount to a hidden area and allow to dry. Check for any colour change before proceeding.
2. Clean — wipe the leather with a dry cloth to remove surface dust and debris.
3. Damp wipe — use a lightly damp cloth to remove any remaining dirt. Allow to dry fully.
4. Apply mink oil — using the woollen pad or a clean cloth, apply a thin, even layer of mink oil across the leather surface.
5. Allow to absorb — leave for 2–3 hours to let the oil penetrate the leather fibres.
6. Buff — use the woollen pad or a clean brush to buff the surface to an even, healthy finish.

For best results, repeat every 4–6 weeks as part of your regular leather care routine.
